From packaging testing for UN-Certifications and Temperature Validation to Fire Testing and Vibration Testing. But we also provide transport of dangerous goods by road, sea, air or we develop completely new packaging for the dangerous goods market.
Packaging tests
In addition to supplying packaging for hazardous substances, we also offer testing services thanks to our close cooperation with testing institutes. At Berlin Packaging we offer comprehensive testing services to verify that packaging solutions meet all legal and operational requirements and to provide packaging with UN-Certification.
Combination packaging have to be tested “prepared for transport”, including the inner packaging to be used. Berlin Packaging offers a fast and easy testing service for combination packaging to help you to fully comply to the dangerous goods regulations when using our GBOX dangerous goods packaging
These testing services consists of:
Testing of 4G boxes with other inner packaging
Testing of different closures or tape
Testing of different cushioning materials
Fully compliant certification and reports of the tests
Temperature validation tests
Fire tests for lithium batteries
US DOT tests for road transport in the US
Other test possibilities are leakproof pressure tests (95 kPa), testing of Type A packaging for radio-active materials and P650 approvals for diagnostic materials.
