OUR MEMBERSHIPS

We partner with organizations championing sustainability, collectively strengthening and advancing the business case for sustainable packaging.

Our memberships refer to both the global and EMEA levels, depending on the site and the countries involved.

UN Global Compact logo with "2026 Participant." Text states commitment to the Ten Principles and refers to Communication on Progress.

The Un Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that encourages businesses worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in areas such as human rights, labour standards, environmental sustainability, and anti-corruption. By adhering to the UN Global Compact, we commit to upholding these principles and improving our practices, fostering greater corporate responsibility and sustainable development. With the Global Compact Network, we participated in the Climate Ambition Accelerator, a six-month programme that provides companies with the knowledge and tools needed to fast-track their efforts in setting science-based emissions reduction targets aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C pathway, guiding them towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

The Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body that helps companies set robust, actionable, and measurable greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets aligned with the Paris Agreement's ambitious target of limiting global warming below 1.5C° and the Net Zero by 2050 goal. The Target Dashboard shows which companies have committed to setting science-based targets and which have already had their targets approved.

We are proud to share that, in May 2025, our targets have been verified by SBTi, confirming our commitment to drastically reduce our emissions across the value chain and remove from the atmosphere an amount of CO2 equal to any remaining emissions by 2050. Below are the targets, with baseline 2022:

  • Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions: 44.8% reduction by 2030; 90% reduction by 2050.

  • Scope 3 emissions: 51.6% reduction per U.S. dollar of revenue by 2030; 97% reduction per U.S. dollar of revenue by 2050.

We participate in consultative committees focused on trends and future developments in the sustainable plastic packaging market and benefit from specialized training covering current recycling technologies, key technological challenges, and other related topics.

As members of the Board, we have the chance to stay updated on the development of guidelines and evolving industry standards, particularly considering new and upcoming Regulation, such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
