Dedicated exclusively to the olive and olive oil sector, Expoliva's history reiterates each edition of its commitment to the progress of a sector that has thousand-year-old roots in Jaén and has been a protagonist throughout its history.

Forty years have been behind the organisation of twenty-one editions of an event that turns the capital of Jaén into a meeting place and a place of dynamisation for all professionals in the sector for a few days.

Year after year, Expoliva hosts exhibitors from all corners of the world, thus reaffirming its consolidation in the business world. At each edition, the number of participants from all over the world increases, with representation from Europe, Asia, South America, the United States and Africa, where countries such as Morocco, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Turkey, Portugal and Tunisia, among others, have a large participation.

One of the main areas of interest at Expoliva is the Scientific and Technical Symposium organised by the Fundación del Olivar, one of the event's promoters, where the latest developments and research in the olive and olive oil sector will be revealed. This Symposium will be structured around 5 main themes in this edition: Olive groves and the environment; Industry, technology and olive oil quality; Economic and social forum; Food, health and olive oil and olive oil culture.
