The Story
Behind the Flaming
Pig Bottle
Studio One Eleven worked with the client to enrich our base bottle (Porto Wine) with embossing, making the bottle more personal. The embossed pig logo on the shoulder and paw prints surrounding the base of the bottle are a striking and beautiful characterisation that adds value to the narrative of the finished product:
Flaming Pig is inspired by the Great Dublin Whisky Fire of 1875, when 5,000 barrels of whisky and spice burned and spread through the streets from Liberties to Coombe, endangering the lives of the many residents and their livestock. It is said that as the flames raged, the lone squeal of a “burning pig” alerted residents to the impending danger, enabling them to act quickly against the fire.

Innovative Prototyping: Visualizing the Future of Our Client's Bottle
During the development of the project, we offered our client a preview of the new bottle with a fully dressed stereolithographic prototype (image attached): this is a good example of how close we can anticipate a customer’s product with our advanced prototyping services!
