UN-Approved BROMINE PACKAGING
Berlin Packaging offers a unique packaging solution for the transport of bromine. Our UN approved bromine packaging consists of five different 1 liter glass bottles, with security closure, a plastic receptacle and a UN-Approved fibreboard outer box.
PACKAGING FOR BROMINE
Berlin Packaging's Dangerous Goods division offers a range of UN-Approved bromine packaging. Bromine is a volatile and highly reactive liquid that requires specialized packaging to ensure safe storage and transport. Due to its unique properties, bromine is particularly challenging to handle. It must be securely packaged to prevent accidents, explosions, or contamination, especially in warmer temperatures.
For the transport of bromine we have developed a standard packaging solution for packing 5 x 1 liter glass bottles. The packaging solution we have developed consisted of a glass bottle with security closure, a plastic receptacle and an UN-Approved fibreboard outer box.
We are happy to inform you about all the possibilities for bromine packaging on request. Please contact us for all your questions about UN-Approved bromine packaging or for more information about dangerous goods packaging.

Bromine Packaging Regulations
Given the hazardous nature of bromine, strict packaging limits are enforced:
• Inner Packaging: The maximum allowable quantity of bromine per glass bottle (inner packaging) is 1 liter.
• Outer Packaging: A maximum of 5 liters of bromine can be placed in the outer packaging, which includes all individual glass containers within one UN-approved box.
Compliant packaging for bromine ensures safe and legally acceptable international transport. With appropriate containment measures in place, the risks associated with bromine accidents—such as explosions or chemical exposure—are minimized. Please do not hesitate to contact us for questions about UN-Approved bromine packaging.
